Count To Four

Somewhere we make mistakes
Heading off to tomorrow
Treading on heaven
Is it true that
Another hell exists?
As if this is just life
Mistakes are norms
Death is but a long rest

Won't rain ever fall
On this barren canyon?
Pieces of humans
Trying to live
Holding on to each other
Like love and hatred
Will you ever stop
And take a rest

Can you see the field of stars?
Where adventure awaits
If heaven is but a lie
Then revenge is but bitter
I saw little children playing in the field
Before I left that place
Destroyed the serenity
Sent death upon the garden
You would understand had you been in my place
But there is no need for you
To understand darkness

Everyone knows
That rain never falls there
Yet never stops here
Everybody cares
The cord stays unbroken
A door remains sealed

Sometimes I wish I could disappear
Along with these dirty hands
Do you think you'll be satisfied
When you have never befriended despair?
Waiting for a full moon
An owl hoots a lullaby
Reflected off the lake
Images from the past

Every morning
Wake up before the sun rises
Maybe you'll see me
Still standing on the horizon

Birth Of The Traveler

Even when everything falls apart
Even if reality sucks
何も手に入れられなくても
One will be by my side when I cry
Why am I running away

The atmosphere around me just changed
Swirls of aura
Everything is clear, but nothing is obvious
People are selfish
Too selfish, I am scared
They'll eliminate me one day
I won't die bearing grudges
I repeat that too often
But I am truly lonely
I want people I can trust

Every year, on that one day
People gather and dance, and sing and celebrate
With beautiful idols leading on the stage
Spotlights run wild alongside red fireworks
Live the night till sunrise
They smile but they know
Inside they are crying
It is a normal thing, I've understood that a long time ago
What sets me apart from them
What blinds my eyes
Is the aurora waves
Conveying messages
So dark, so meaningless

Sometimes when I come across idols
I can only look at them from far away
Wishing they'd notice me
Wondering how their lives are like
It's what everyone does isn't it?
No matter who, once they rise to fame
People will want to get near them
Get to know them and get noticed
And again I got dragged away from those idols
By my own bodyguards, from my own fans
Away from the crowd that's cheering my name
And in that flicker of a second
Our glances met
From behind the dark window of my car
We exchanged smiles
They say I'm weird, I wonder why

なんとなくここまできた
故郷に戻れなくていい
僕は好き嫌いのない人
別にどうでも構わないや
ただひたすら
信用できる人と一緒にいられない

I stand strong and tall
Waving and smiling to the crowd
One day I'll tear open the sky
And venture into the worlds outside
Away from this rubbish world
Yes, I am running away
Why suffer when I can leave?
Therefore I'll escape
And become a traveler

Beneath A White Sky

How were we supposed to know
When we face the same way
In a triangle of a white world
Where tiny specks of snow fall

As one of each walks along
Treading on and on
Though we brush each other at a point
How were we supposed to know
That we were torn

Amongst the wilderness
Through a stream of rushing lads
One of us sat waiting for snow to fall
And hes eyes gazed
As the first flake flew down
Then two eyes met
And still we never knew
Just got up and walked down the road

It was just a dream
A long real dream
Gazing up at a wide blue sky
Fighting over things
I leant against your back
Searching for tranquility
And stood there and started mocking
We smiled
As the sky shattered to pieces

How long do we have to walk alone
Before we really know
Were the eyes those I used to know
Or are you someone new
We were naive, not knowing
That someone waits
In a triangle it started to snow again

A Grim Tale

I know a grim tale, do you want to hear it?
It's about demons and angels that never existed
What play their parts in it were just two friends
Both of them suffered because of us

It was all destiny that fated their encounter
As the young Silica climbed up the rocky mountains
Hes majestic golden hair waved in the wind
Hes silver eyes spoke a thousand words
If you have ever heard of the demon's child tale
This is what the elderlies never told you
Of Silica, the child of a lord sorcerer

The sole friend and the only one who knew the truth
That is what se was to the so-called demon child
And years pass by, people came to know of the armored demon
It lived! It's back! were what they screamed
Oh, how the villagers were speechless when the earth swallowed them
Watching their doom, and standing beside the demon
The very warrior they sent to strike death onto the fiend
Then smiled at them as they slid down the crusts of earth

This grim tale is very grim
Not because one of them was a lord sorcerer
Nor because the other was the Emperor Warrior
Two great allies, with the most beautiful friendship
And yet misunderstood and always mistreated
Just how low can humans sink
To have shed blood from our own saviors?

From planet to planet the two travelled
Banishing the wicked, saving the misled
Just doing what they were meant to do
Never for once asking for anything
And though we welcomed the sorcerer with open arms
No one would spend a second with hes companion

Bathed in blood and endured hatred
Silica didn't leave the Emperor, forever by hes side
Se was the only one who knew the truth
No one else would listen
Silica's one sole wish was
To always be there to wipe the Emperor's tears

Alas, we never knew when to stop
With our own hands, we slayed the sorcerer
That day, the sky was red, the beach was a crimson color
The Emperor held hem in hes arms, comforting hes pain
When Silica breathed hes last, the Emperor cried and cried
And finally se stood up, hes eyes fixed on us
We saw our end on that every day
You are the first to listen to this molden statue

Can you see the blood tears we cry now?
Can you see a person standing at the water edges?
If you do, I'll let you know that se's not a demon
Be kind to hem, maybe you'll see what we failed to

The truth in the legend of the demon child is unraveled

Virus

We both swore to protect each other
Don't blame me for attacking you
The one with virus is not me, but you

Always not there when I'm not looking
Then using sweet words
Talking me into believing
This time 100% I'm looking at you
Disappeared, betrayed your own words
If my destiny is to kill you
To get rid of the virus that infected you
I'll go to the highest limit

Somehow I can't stop asking
Why do you always feel lonely?
Why are you always searching for companions?
When you know you are not
When you told us you’re never lonely
Why do you feel insecure?
No, I won't blame you
Certainly I'll get you out of pain

That day I was strolling down the bridge covered with blood
And I found the fragile you in my palms
Fragile, yes fragile, but you shone
There is no need to chase strength
Because there are people you can trust in
Just shine like how other stars do

You looked at me with fearsome eyes
As if I'm infected with virus
And my hand swung with the intent to kill
The virus in your soul
Even if I have to do it
You must wake up
Because with all the strength I have
I'll take you out of loneliness

Red Flower

There is a person
Standing on the beach
With meaningful eyes
Just staring at the ocean
They'll always remember
The way hes long hair is blown by the wind

At the water edges se stands
Surrounded by them
Their weapons point out at hem
As se recalls a story
Se looks up at the sky
Gazing into the universe
Asking the same question"Where do I belong?"

A place se used to call home
Now seeks hes life
Se's a blood-thirst ravager
Who has no desire to return
As they thrust their weapons
Se sighes
All se wants is
To place a white flower on a sword
Which marks the grave
Of the only one who knew the truth
But no matter how se tries
Se always fails

There is a tale
Of a child still-born
They offered hem to the demons
In exchange for serenity
And for reasons no one knows
The child lives
Se grows up strong
To have hes revenge
Till now the tale lives
The story keeps on being repeated
From ancestor to grandchildren
The demon child's tale

There is a person
Standing on a beach
Scattered with people
Holding a red flower
Se stares at the sword
And walks up to it
Holding out the bloody offer
Adding to the rest

Se kneels and prays
With that emotionless face
As someone creeps up from behind
Raising high an axe
And down it goes
Slicing the air
Along with the hands
Thudding the ground
The man saw the flames
In the eyes of the person
But se just turned hes back
And walked back to the shore

As night falls
Se stands at the seashore
The sound of the rocking waves
Goes far and wide
Just another planet
Just another galaxy
If you see hem try to say hello
Because se may be there for a moment
And the next thing you know
Se never appears again

Akumu

Lately, there is this feeling of sadness
But tears just won't well up, why?
Somewhere it hurts
Somehow, my ever smiling-face disappeared
When I think no one's looking

I always watch the night sky
Counting the brightly shining stars
Even till now, I'm still at a loss
There is no place where I can belong to

The dream, it keeps repeating itself
Over and over again
The dream, of an uninteresting past

The sweet fragrance of my hometown
Is slowly disappearing, little by little
I don't need those memories anymore
I can't go back, I won't go back

The dream, it keeps repeating itself
Over and over again
The dream, that is not even true

An undelivered legend unearthed by the duo
