It's been a rather long time
Short but because it moves slowly
My pocket-watch ticks by
Sounding off into infinity
They always say, I did too
I once lived without you
Just fine that way, almost
But since the fateful day
When destiny let us meet
Why does it hurt when I'm alone?
So much, time went still
I journey across time and place
Different worlds, distorted dimensions
Never around for too long
But not short enough to prevent
Emotions across dimensions
A full moon reflects off the lake
In the world I'm standing now
Time moves slowly, very slowly
Distantly ticking off every second
Like eternity
Is time even moving?
So far away
I can't even see
The stars you're staring at
Unable to reach
To wipe the tears that you shed
The Traveler's regretting hes inability to return
