My Precious Gem

Tonight the moon will shine in a full moon
As darkness sweeps over the land silently
Break the moon bud into pieces
God, please don’t let this be a sad night

Every night I watch the night sky
Whether there are stars or not, I don’t really care
Each second a new galaxy is born
So far away it’s light doesn’t reach
Untouchable, my precious gem

Grasping in the heavy night rain
I try to find a lost memory
Of a life that had once passed by
If unable to forget is painful
Forgetting everything hurts more
That face that I had seen before
Why can’t I remember who se is?
While my heart throbs faster and faster

A war tore us apart
It’s a dream of mine
People, me, lying dead flashed in my mind
And a hand was holding mine

Things won’t change
Every time we meet we are strangers
I can’t remember you
You don’t know me
In that memory of a war
I see someone without a face
Is that just a dream

I will wait until that day
My soul stops crying
Every night I watch the night sky
The witness of what happened here

I go to school on early mornings
Yawning, running, don’t want to be late
An idol in school I mustn’t flunk
Interesting lessons will begin again
I can’t wait to learn something new

Exchanging good mornings with fellow friends
Getting crowded in is a normal thing
Although I hate it, and am tired of it
I force a smile because it’s just destiny

Oh, another favorite has come
It’s you, pain struck again
Who are you, let’s be friends
Welcome to my class

You’re a different set
Cold and cruel towards them
They will keep on chasing still
There’s something about you that I understand
You are just being true

There are no stars tonight
Fate is playing around with me
No matter how I drink from knowledge
Without reflection from memories
The truth will stay sealed

The red stain fades day by day
I hear that you’re going out with someone
My hope to create a new story is broken
You too keep avoiding me without a reason
There is no need to keep this feeling on
Fine, we’ll go our own ways

It is another night without stars
Tired of waiting, I sleep on the grassy hill
A soft wind blows it feels chilly
In my dream the faceless person is behind me
If my eyes are cameras
They fall facing the sky
The dream gets blurry
What is that person yelling about?
It is so real it wakes me up

Sitting up I almost cried
Why can’t I remember anything?
Till I realize you are nearby
Looking at me with that face
How did you find this place
That only I could reach after so long

The night sky laid out the map
To search for a remedy you followed it
The answer to your ununderstandable surroundings
You thought I am related
If I am, you are disappointed
Because I chose someone else
You will not cry for a betrayer

I have never fallen in love
Unlike someone who said I did
There is a memory lost
I believe that it is true
That word strikes you
Eye to eye, we stand there
Some feet away, motionless
Even if my dreams are just dreams
I want to start it all over again

Why are the people around us so cruel
After I tend to their every cry
They build a barrier between us
I know they are just childish
But I can’t accept it anymore

Tonight, we watch the night sky together
Do you think my dreams are not real?
You say you don’t know but you wonder
Why does your memory seem unreal
That is true everyone here
Have fake made up memories
Laughing, maybe my war is also made up
Discovering you had the some vision
Although unclear and blurry
Yes, something is wrong

A shooting star falls beside us
No it’s not, it’s that person
When our hands touch, the grass
Breaks into fragments of memories
And seep into our minds

We met a long time ago and fell for each other
To depend on, to rely on
The purest kind of crystal
That person came and took everything
Lives, properties, this whole place
At the brink of death, our will to live
Forced memories out to form a new world
And we lived without a past

Here se comes again, save yourself
Run to the place where that person cannot reach
We’ll meet again, I promise
Stopping that person from going after you
Unseal the forbidden spell
Opening the dimension to another world
I drag hem inside before the door closed
But se got away I’m sorry
The one trapped now is me

Till the day we meet again
Every night I watch the night sky
Counting how many stars are there
Comparing it with the world we came from

A fable told by the Traveler
